After two years of squeezing all the cocktail mixers they could manage out of their shared space at 1400 Food Lab, Simple Times Mixers has moved into their own production space in Gahanna, equipped with a retail counter and tasting room.
“It was our vision to create an environment where we could do tours, tastings and retail and still have our offices, kitchen and warehouse,” said CEO Mark Tinus.
Simple Times has been juicing and bottling in the new space for just over a month. The new facility allows them to produce about 1400 gallons of mixers per week, double their previous capacity.
An up-front retail area features 32oz bottles, mix and match three packs, one-gallon jugs and Simple Times swag. Retail sales will initially will be offered weekdays from 9-5pm and will expand, likely overlapping neighboring Noble Cut Distillery’s hours.
Tinus says they plan to use the tasting area to offer regular cocktail crafting courses to the public (BYOB) as well as to host tastings for their bar/retail, bridal and event customers. Simple Times also plans to offer regular tours of the production space which will conclude with tastings.
Simple Times Mixers is located at 750 Cross Pointe Rd Suite M in Gahanna, Ohio.
